Sometimes it looks cool if your phpMyAdmin is locked by popup windows. But actually it also prevents other user to play around with your database.
Lets do it the simplest way.
Open your config.inc.php => I believe you know the place, or let say you forget it.
If you use windows WAMP, you can find’em in c:\wamp\www\apps\phpmyadmin
Another *NIX system, you may look at /var/www/html/phpmyadmin/libraries
Change this line => $cfg[‘Servers’][$i][‘auth_type’] = ‘config’;
into $cfg[‘Servers’][$i][‘auth_type’] = ‘http’;
Simple isn’t it ?
The last jump, you may try to open your phpMyAdmin through your favorite browser. Voila !
